Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of eCommerce and advertising, offering a rich array of digital advertising solutions with the goal of helping our customers find and discover anything they want to buy.

Amazon Advertising is seeking a Manager Advertising Account Management for our Advertising business. This position can be based in Munich, Berlin, Duesseldorf or Hamburg.

You will manage a team supporting advertisers to identify controllable inputs, which enable product teams to drive revenue and deliver an amazing customer experience.

You will manage a team that will work closely with advertisers and have direct responsibility for helping them optimize their advertising campaigns.

Your day-to-day activities will change constantly as our business grows and you can expect to work on improving operations to scale our business, propose to create and establish programs that impact thousands of advertisers and build business cases to drive feature development with product and engineering teams.

You can expect to work closely with Sales, Marketing and Product teams on advertiser communication plans, related to new feature launches and program changes.

This is a critical role and your efforts will drive advertiser commitment, revenue growth and product improvements for worldwide Advertising.

Key job responsibilities

  • Hire and Manage a team to deliver advertising strategies which drive long-term growth and advertiser success
  • Ensure that high potential advertisers reach their performance goals quickly and stay active and healthy
  • Develop and implement best practices to drive consistently strong ROI and to scale for anticipated growth.
  • Identify, design and champion innovative ways to provide the benefits of account management on a large scale. Constantly look for and incorporate process and product improvements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, we expect.

  • Proven German and English skills - both verbal and written.
  • Multiple years' experience in client-facing role with a strong focus on Advertising Sales and/or Account Management
  • Proven work experience in a fast-paced eCommerce environment
  • Multiple years of experience leading a team
  • Ability to navigate data and leverage analytics to derive strategies
  • Outstanding MS Office skills
  • Hands-on Mentality
  • Bachelor's degree required, emphasis in online marketing or similar business preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Further Qualifications would be a plus.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of partner teams
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Understanding of digital marketing, ad serving, cross-channel attribution, and media math
  • Adept at solving problems that span business and technology
  • Self-motivated team player, with refined and assertive leadership skills
