Einleitung

Our client, a rapidly growing biotech company based in Munich, with a commitment to excellence and a passion for cutting-edge research, are seeking a talented Supply Chain Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring efficient procurement, production, distribution, and inventory management while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting regulatory requirements.

Your day to day:

  • Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, logistics, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs to ensure alignment and integration of supply chain activities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components while adhering to quality standards.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve operational excellence.
  • Manage inventory levels and optimize inventory turnover to meet production requirements while minimizing carrying costs and excess inventory.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and enhance supply chain resilience.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations including (GMP) and ISO standards.
  • Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies and best practices to enhance supply chain capabilities and competitiveness.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to anticipate challenges and opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management within the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chain operations and driving process improvements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
