Your tasks

As a data engineer, you will support the Südzucker Group's path to becoming a data-driven company by building a data architecture within the group-wide data platform on the Google Cloud Platform.

  • The integration of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data points from a wide variety of sources through appropriate data pipelines and their further processing for different purposes plays a central role.
  • To do this, you work together with the data owners on the one hand and the data consumers on the other to develop solutions for implementing the necessary data governance.
  • You will serve requirements from classic reporting scenarios to advanced analytical procedures and data science use cases.


your profile
  • You have completed a degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field
  • You have several years of practical experience in data collection, processing and analysis
  • You can develop and implement comprehensive and sustainable concepts
  • You can structure complex issues and develop solutions from them
