About the job

As a Accountant at Foxway, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. As a part in the finance team, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various finance initiatives.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through robust internal controls, policies, and procedures, implementing strategies to protect assets and reduce liabilities.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support, and implementing improvements based on audit findings.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.

What we expect from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Good German and English skills
  • At least 2 years proven experience in a finance role with accounting expertise
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles, practices and regulations.
  • Experience in the preparation of annual financial statements and reports
  • Good knowledge of financial software and MS Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A humorous, motivated colleague with whom you enjoy going for a drink after work
