We are looking for a committed individual with sound theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), who has a strong track record in teaching and research in at least two of the following areas of AI:
- Cognitive robotics and human-robot interaction
- Autonomous systems
- Knowledge-based systems, automated reasoning
- practice-oriented teaching of the course content in German and English language and in digital formats
- Content-related and strategic further development of the computer science degree programs (B.Sc./M.Sc.)
- Supervision of practical, Bachelor's and Master's theses, implementation of research and practical projects
- Involvement in acquiring third-party funding and establishing partnerships in academia and industry
- Active participation in academic self-administration and commitment on our way to becoming a European university and in the internationalization of our university
- You have a university degree in computer science, mathematics or a comparable subject and a relevant doctorate
- You have at least five years of professional experience, including at least three years outside of academia
- You can prove your scientific qualifications through publications at leading international AI conferences and/or journals
- You are committed, team-oriented and enjoy working in teaching and research

The position is available for an unlimited period of time. When first appointed to a professorship, employment is initially on a probationary civil service basis or on a permanent employment basis with a three-year probationary period.
