How to contribute to our vision

What are my responsibilities?
You will be responsible for the line management, planning and deployment of a team of highly skilled wind turbine technicians to operational sites throughout Germany and Europe.Promoting the #ZeroHarm culture within the team to drive positive safety performance.Ensuring that all technician administrative tasks are complete correctly and in the expected manner, using your resource coordinator to ensure this is happening correctly.Working with the planning team to ensure that technicians are deployed to site in the correct numbers, at the correct times with the right competencies to support business operations.Engaging with the planning team on an ongoing monthly basis to ensure that any changes in plan are reflected and any redeployment necessary is actioned in the right timelines.Working with the finance team on cost saving measures initiated either by yourself or the finance team.Ensuring that the travelling technicians are of the right competency level and that they have all the required certification to be able to operate on the sites based on their own specific requirements.When technicians are on site manage and monitor their performance and report back to the Head of Resource Management and the Operations team on their performance.If technician performance is not up to standard work with the Site Operations to rectify these issues.Ensure that a development plan is in place with all technicians, that this is to the benefit of the technician and supports business needs.Complete quarterly one to one feedback with technicians to manage performance and also progress against their development plan.Working with the finance team to manage the financial performance of the team and report back into the business.Where necessary support sites to ensure that the technicians supplied have the right competencies to be able to carry out the tasks.Building productive relationships with operational sites and other key stakeholders to understand their needs an deliver a high-quality service.Having a regular presence on operational sites to develop relationships with both technicians and site teams.Proactive two-way communication with a remote team of technicians to ensure they are kept informed and engaged.Build and maintain relationships with other internal stakeholders.Effective line management of administrative support of both the blue-collar team and the white-collar support for this team.
