Field of activity

As a department within the IT department of the DRV-Bund, we deal with the planning, development, introduction and maintenance of IT systems for the central office for the digital pension overview using and further developing the SAFe framework. Your tasks
  • Further development and operation of the container-based infrastructure for the development and operation of the digital pension overview.
  • Connection and support of customers and service providers
  • Creation of documentation
  • Setting up logging and monitoring with alerting
  • Administer and monitor servers, services and tools
  • Analysis and elimination of malfunctions
  • Ensuring the robustness of the application (performance, scalability, reliability)
  • Close collaboration with the development team
Your profile
  • Successfully completed higher education (Bachelor or Diploma) in the IT sector or completed vocational training in the IT sector or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of strong, task-relevant professional experience in the IT sector
  • Several years of professional experience in system administration, IT operations or in a DevOps role
  • Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher, Fleet, RabbitMQ/ Kafka
  • Experience with application performance monitoring
  • Knowledge of Git (Bitbucket), Jira, CI/CD, Jenkins
  • Knowledge of client service system architectures (microservices, REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, AMQP)
  • Willing to learn and highly motivated, open, honest, self-organized and goal-oriented
  • An agile mindset as well as strong communication and teamwork skills round off your profile
