Your TasksAt Beiersdorf, we are committed to enabling digital transformation across all business functions. We are Beiersdorf's Data team and establish a global data platform which provides high-quality and trustable data for different cases like standard reporting / dashboarding, self-service, data science and finally data as a product.
Our team consists of passionate and experienced data architects from various professional backgrounds. As a team, we own Beiersdorf's data and metadata architecture. We are part of Beiersdorf's data organization.

Your Tasks
As a Manager Data Architecture & Governance you are responsible to establish and improve our data architecture cross functional including meta data management (data catalog) within our one data platform. You and your team translate business and process requirements into a holistic data architecture. You are working closely together with our internal partners and stakeholders including the teams of data supply (data engineers), Reporting & Planning and other IT units. You will always find the balance between individual requirements and stable solutions. You are open to new technologies and see them as an opportunity to enable even deeper insights into data.
We work together on global projects in mixed project teams. It is important to us that everyone can contribute their experiences and concerns to discussions.
Your main tasks are:
Leading the design and implementation of data architecture and meta data architecture Further develop of our data governance / data principles Managing a team of data architects Working closely together with our business functions to support building their data strategy Your ProfileWhat skills we are looking for:
Completed studies of Computer Science, Informatics or related field 5+ years professional experience in data architecture and data engineering Strong knowledge of data technologies like Azure data platform, Databricks, SAP BW, HANA database Knowledge of meta data technologies like Collibra An understanding of the different requirements that can arise in a moving data environment Very good analytical and conceptual skills as well as high self-initiative Strong communication and interpersonal skills Fluent in written and spoken English.
