Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of the EV charging sector:
    • Actively shape the technology roadmap for next-gen EV chargers, offering insights into evolving tech trends.
    • Lead innovative R&D initiatives, overseeing design and validation in advanced laboratories.

Collaborate externally for advancements:

  • Work with R&D institutes and universities to pioneer converter and control algorithms.
  • Build strategic partnerships to stay ahead in the field.

Manage intellectual property:

  • Generate novel ideas, contribute to IP development, and ensure protection of innovative concepts.
  • Drive the protection of innovative concepts through the filing of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).

Requirements

  • You hold a Master's degree in power electronics / electrical, electronic engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in research and development of power converters in the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging domain.
  • Strong expertise in power electronic converter topologies, modulation, control, and algorithm development, preferably within EV charging or similar applications.
  • Profound theoretical understanding of basic power electronic converter principles, multi-level converters, magnetic component designs, and power semiconductor devices, including wide-bandgap devices.
  • Proven track record in leading new technology development initiatives, showcasing innovation, and publishing in reputable journals.
  • High level of self-reliance, with an autonomous, target-oriented work style, a "can do" attitude, and a willingness to think outside the box.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, working language; German language skills are a plus
