Deputy MLRO - Senior Manager AML/AFC (m/w/d)
  1. Support to the MLRO:
ï· Act as a trusted deputy to the MLRO, ensuring seamless continuity in their absence.ï· Assist the MLRO in managing the organization's AML/CTF/AFC program and fulfillingstatutory and regulatory obligations.ï· Collaborate with the MLRO to prepare regulatory filings, including Suspicious ActivityReports (SARs), annual risk assessments, and compliance reports.ï· Provide detailed reports and analysis to the MLRO to support decision-making oncomplex AML/CTF issues.Leadership and Oversight:ï· Lead operational teams in the implementation and enhancement of the AML/CTFframework, ensuring alignment with the organization's risk appetite and regulatoryexpectations.ï· Support the MLRO in developing and executing the AFC strategy to safeguard theorganization against financial crime risks.Development and Execution of Control Plans:ï· Schedule, conduct, and document regular controls, including sample testing, systemchecks, and procedural audits.ï· Review findings from controls and recommend improvements to processes, systems, orpolicies as needed.ï· Ensure that control activities align with regulatory expectations and are reported to seniormanagement and the MLRO regularly.Regulatory Compliance and Monitoring:ï· Monitor changes in AML/CTF legislation and ensure that the organization's policies,processes, and systems are updated accordingly.ï· Support the MLRO in managing relationships with regulators, auditors, and externalstakeholders during inspections and reviews.ï· Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to regulatory authorities, particularlywhen deputizing for the MLRO.Transaction Monitoring and Screening:ï· Oversee and manage the transaction monitoring system to identify and investigatepotentially suspicious activities.ï· Review and assess alerts generated by the screening systems for sanctions, politicallyexposed persons (PEPs), and adverse media hits.ï· Ensure that escalations from transaction monitoring and screening teams areappropriately evaluated, documented, and resolved.ï· Recommend and implement improvements to the transaction monitoring and screeningsystems to enhance detection capabilities and reduce false positives.Risk Assessment and Mitigation:ï· Assist the MLRO in conducting the risk analysis and identifying key areas of vulnerability.ï· Oversee the identification, investigation, and resolution of suspicious activities, ensuringcompliance with legal reporting requirements.Whistleblowing:ï· Manage and oversee the organization's whistleblowing framework to ensure employeesand stakeholders have a secure, confidential, and accessible channel to report concernsabout financial crime or misconduct.ï· Investigate whistleblowing reports in coordination with relevant departments, ensuringappropriate escalation and remediation.ï· Foster a culture of trust and integrity, encouraging the use of whistleblowing channelswithout fear of retaliation.Policy Development and Implementation:ï· Work closely with the MLRO to draft, review, and update AML/CTF policies andprocedures.ï· Ensure that policies are effectively implemented and communicated across theorganization.Training and Culture Building:ï· Collaborate with the MLRO to design and deliver tailored training programs to increaseawareness and understanding of financial crime risks.ï· Foster a strong culture of compliance and integrity by promoting the importance offinancial crime prevention across the organization.Stakeholder Collaboration:ï· Act as a point of escalation for complex AML/CTF matters, providing expert guidance tointernal teams and the MLRO.ï· Support the MLRO in building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders.Reporting and Data Analysis: < Über unsPageGroup Changes LivesDie PageGroup ist spezialisiert auf die Vermittlung von Fach- und Führungskräften für Festanstellungen, im Rahmen qualifizierter Zeitarbeit sowie für Interimseinsätze bei Unternehmen weltweit.
