Wir sind aktuell auf der Suche nach einem Mechanical Design Engineer (w/m/d) in Vollzeit zur Verstärkung unserer lokalen Teams in Haan für unseren Brachytherapie Applikatoren Produktfamilie. Unsere Mechanical Design Engineers sind das Herzstück unserer Arbeit bei Varian, wenn es um die Neuentwicklung unsere Produkte geht und sind zentraler Dreh- und Angelpunkt für unsere Kolleginnen und Kollegen aus einer Vielzahl von Fachabteilungen. Ihre Aufgaben: Sie sind verantwortlich für die erfolgreiche Umsetzung von Produktneuentwicklungen für unsere Brachytherapie-Produkte mit Fokus auf Applikatoren und Zubehör. Sie treiben die Designentwicklungen aktiv voran und überführen das Design in die Serienproduktion. Sie sind zuständig für die Erstellung und Pflege von technischen Spezifikationen, Zeichnungen und Projektdokumentationen. Sie führen eigenständig Produkttests und Fehleranalysen durch und beheben Abweichungen im Bedarfsfall. Ihr Profil: Sie verfügen über ein abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium mit einem (medizin-) technischen Schwerpunkt oder einen vergleichbaren Abschluss. Sie überzeugen durch Ihre mehrjährige Erfahrung in einer vergleichbaren Rolle im Projektumfeld. Sie haben sehr gute Kenntnisse im Umgang mit parametrischen Zeichenprogrammen (z.B. Creo / Pro Engineer Wildfire oder SolidWorks). Gute Kenntnisse im regulatorischen Umfeld für Medizinprodukte (z.B. ISO 13485, ISO 14971, CFR 20, ISO 10993, EU MDR) sind von Vorteil. Sie zeichnen sich aus durch einen fokussierten und zielorientierten Arbeitsstil gepaart mit einem hohen Maß an Selbstorganisation und Kommunikationsstärke. Ihr Profil wird abgerundet durch sehr gute Englisch- sowie gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
