Accountant/Buchhalter (m/f/d)

Join our team as the key player in the Finance department in the role of Team Lead Accounting. You will oversee all financial accounting and reporting aspects, driving the boundaries of drone technology together with our world-class team of 3 members.

You will closely collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making based on accurate and timely financial information. Your smooth financial processes will contribute to Quantum Systems becoming the benchmark for aerial data collection solutions using unmanned aerial systems (sUAV).

Your Day to Day Mission:
  • Management of the accounting department: Leading the accounting team professionally and disciplinarily.
  • Proper bookkeeping: Ensuring efficient and correct bookkeeping, hands-on processing of business transactions.
  • Financial reporting: Preparing financial statements in compliance with HGB, including consolidating subsidiary finances. You will be the main contact point for audits, coordinating audit activities, documentation, and processing findings.
  • Tax matters: Timely preparation and submission of tax and statistical returns in collaboration with tax advisors and authorities.
  • Optimization and controls: Identifying process improvement opportunities, establishing internal controls, and ensuring policy compliance.
  • Advice and communication: Supporting management in financial matters, onboarding new subsidiaries, and assisting with post-merger accounting.
  • Legal and regulatory compliance: Ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations, tracking legislative changes, and updating internal guidelines.
What you bring to the team:
  • Degree or training in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and financial management with leadership skills.
  • Structured work approach and interest in drones or aerospace.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards responsibilities.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
