About the job:

• Independent setup and operation of CNC-controlled single and multi-spindle turning machines
• Setup check including tool change
• Ensuring production deadlines and quality standards
• Quality control (in-house inspection) and monitoring of production processes
• Fault analysis and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment
• Supporting our LEAN activities

Your skills that matter:

• Completed training as a machining mechanic, specializing in turning machine systems or equivalent
• Several years of experience in independently setting up CNC turning machines and reading programs
• Excellent knowledge in operating machines from manufacturers such as INDEX, TRAUB, DMG, Spinner, Citizen, Mazak, Okuma, Tornos, Star, Schütte
• Willingness to further develop existing skills towards automation
• High self-initiative, teamwork, quick comprehension, and independent work style
• Openness to shift work (early, late, and night shifts)
• Enjoyment in contributing to continuous improvement processes at the Ennepetal plant
