IHRE AUFGABEN

FORVIAis establishing joint operations between Faurecia and HELLA to increase itspurchasing power and deliver increased value to our stakeholders. SinceJuly 2023 a new common Indirect Purchasing Organization under FORVIA wascreated starting our transformation journey.
Todo so, we need to develop solid common joint foundations such as commonprocesses, KPIs, systems and tools as key enablers.

TheIT commodity is truly a worldwide commodity with high spend and strong centralstakeholders with high level of management attention requiring an experiencedpurchasing team.

Essentialresponsibilities and duties
The Central Equipment CommodityDirector is responsible to:

Support the development of global strategies for all relevant sub-commodities of Central Equipment, with the target to create long term partnerships and value creation for all parties. Develop the global supplier panel as well as prepare, conduct, and finalize global RF-X including negotiation of best terms and contracts to ensure KPI achievements. Analyse market trends and innovations and derive related measures in close alignment with the relevant key stakeholders to create value. Drive Synergy projects within the context of our FORVIA transformation. Closely collaborate with central stakeholders of Operations to assess the needs and built up of sourcing pipelines to foster value creation as well as cross Business Group standardization initiatives. Support in creating, updating, and delivering an annual commodity plan to execute the strategies, incl. overseeing relevant contracts and RF-X Implement best practices and share learnings across regions and other commodities. Help to define commodities policies and monitor compliance globally. Functionally support and develop the global commodity team and animate the network cross countries and Business Groups.

Position based in Forvia Hella HQ in Lippstadt Germany with occasionalneed for business trips.

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN

Minimum Education Level: Highereducation degree (bachelors, master, MBA) in Engineering or Business.

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years experience in purchasing or operations with focus on Equipments Ideally in in industrial environment / automotive Experience of working in international matrix organisations Experience in project management and transformation

Skills and competencies:

Good financials skills, including data analytics Business sense / strategic thinking ability Computer literate and good knowledge of IT systems Negotiation skills English fluent Results oriented International mind set Team oriented and able to work independently Good understanding of Commodity, Market and cost models
