In this context, we are looking for a customer-oriented Security Analyst to join our managed services team. As a Customer-Facing Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing top-tier exposure remediation services to our clients and potential clients. Your responsibilities will include working closely with customers to assess, analyze, and address exposures within their IT and cloud infrastructure, all while offering expert guidance and nurturing strong client relationships.
Role Overview:
- Act as the main point of contact for our customers, establishing and maintaining trustworthy relationships grounded in exceptional customer service.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of customers' IT and cloud infrastructure to pinpoint exposures, vulnerabilities, and potential security risks.
- Configure, deploy, and leverage XM Products to effectively identify and prioritize exposures.
- Collaborate with various teams, including IT operations and devops teams, to ensure timely and efficient exposure remediation efforts.
- Proactively oversee and monitor the progress of remediation initiatives, providing regular updates and status reports to customers, addressing any inquiries or issues.
- Stay informed about the latest exposure management tools, methodologies, and industry trends, offering pertinent recommendations to customers to enhance their security stance.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years as a Security Analyst or in a similar customer-focused capacity, with specialization in exposure remediation, vulnerability management, or penetration testing.
- Proficiency in exposure assessment methodologies, vulnerability scanning tools, and exposure mitigation best practices - advantageous.
- Familiarity with security frameworks like CIS Controls, NIST, or ISO 27001, as well as knowledge of regulatory demands such as GDPR or HIPAA - advantageous.
- Knowledge of one or more major cloud service providers (AWS/GCP/Azure) and cloud security best practices.
- Strong aptitude for self-learning.
- Outstanding analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Exceptional customer service mindset.
- Fluency in both German and English.
