What do Care Assistant Nurses do?

Care Assistant Nurses provide care and support to individuals of all ages in stable care situations, based on the individual care planning of nursing professionals. They document the actions taken in accordance with professional and legal requirements. They assist individuals in leading an independent life as well as in maintaining and promoting health. They take into consideration the different care and life situations, life stages, and the independence and autonomy of individuals.

What do Care Assistant Nurses learn?

• Supporting individuals of all ages in mobility, nutrition, personal hygiene, and excretion interactively, health-promoting, and preventively
• Communication and relationship building with all involved individuals and professional groups in the process
• Participating in the care process by assisting in creating biographies and care planning, updating nursing reports, and documenting self-performed activities
• Performing simple physical measures under the guidance and supervision of nursing professionals, and participating in the preparation, execution, and follow-up of medically prescribed diagnostic and therapeutic measures
  

Training Facts

Requirement:

• At least basic vocational qualification (e.g. secondary school certificate after 9th grade) or a completed vocational training
• Training contract with a care facility (e.g. nursing service, nursing home, hospital, etc.; we are happy to assist with placement)
  
  

The VIDACTA Schools are part of the VIDACTA Education Group. Established in December 2020, they aim to provide the best-qualified personnel for the job market in the therapeutic and care professions through the training and further qualification of dedicated individuals. In 2021, they will begin operations at their first two locations in Essen and Hamm.
