We are looking for a Senior Account Manager who is fluent in German to join our eBay Ads team. As a Senior Account Manager, you play a vital role in driving the adoption of advertising solutions and cultivating long-term relationships with eBay's sellers to enhance their presence on the platform. We need someone open-minded, a team player, and possessing exceptional consultative sales, coaching, and client service abilities. This role has a hybrid nature, requiring office presence three days a week.
Responsibilities:- Drive adoption of advertising solutions among a targeted book of business (60+ sellers)
- Increase the business of sellers on eBay by offering ad solutions and proposing campaign optimizations
- Create quarterly/annual business plans with sellers focusing on ad product utilization
- Foster long-term relationships with sellers, meeting quarterly goals/KPIs
- Monitor overall category performance and advertising uptake
- Collaborate with the trading team to grasp category objectives, product roadmap, promotional calendar, and seller targets
- Offer suggestions for category-specific ad enhancements to product and engineering teams
- Demonstrated experience in driving organizational change
- Understand the economics of assigned categories, sales structures, seller objectives, margins...
- Effectively communicate with a diverse range of sellers, from small businesses to large retailers/brands
- Utilize analytical skills to analyze Sellers' performance and provide recommendations for improving ad campaign performance
- 5+ years experience in account management, Sales, ecommerce, performance marketing, digital advertising, CPC
- Proficiency in German and English
- Demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships with clients and partners
- Outstanding consultative sales, coaching, and client service skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and navigate ambiguity
