Inpatient Registered Nurse – RN – Dialysis

Position Overview: The Registered Nurse Inpatient Services RN CAP 1 at Fresenius Kidney Care is an entry-level role in the Clinical Advancement Program. This position involves providing and coordinating high-quality care for a group of patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform essential functions under supervision
- Collect and analyze patient data
- Provide patient education
- Report patient status variations
- Administer safe patient care
- Coordinate patient care communication
- Administer medications
- Participate in emergency response
- Assist with staff training
- Complete program requirements
- Perform other assigned duties
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Direct patient care involving lifting and moving
- Standing and bending over for extended periods
- Exposure to infectious materials
- Interaction with patients and staff
- Travel between facilities
- Participation in on-call rotation
Supervision:
- Oversight of Patient Care Technicians/LVN/LPNs/RNs
- Minimum experience requirements
Education and Licensure:
- Current state licensure and CPR BLS Certification
- Meet practice requirements
Experience and Skills:
- Entry-level Nephrology Nursing experience
- Minimum experience as a Registered Nurse
- Acute dialysis and ICU experience preferred
