Ensuring the proper development and maintenance of high-quality products, meeting customer requirements.Ensuring the compliance with food safety regulations and METRO's specific standards by establishing product specifications and monitoring food items throughout their lifecycle, in close collaboration with the commercial team, own brand team, METRO countries, and suppliers.
Regularly review and maintain the QA documents e.g.: GQA standards, procedures, technical manuals, etc.Development of products and their specifications in collaboration with suppliers, commercial team, and own brand team.
Risk assessment of products and suppliers, including HACCP. Maintain data on supplier certification, inspections, product specifications, and analysis results.
We are seeking an individual with expertise and enthusiasm for the food category.
University degree in food chemistry, food technology, or a similar food-related field with specific wine studies/experience.A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in front line retailing/wholesaling/manufacturing and/or product quality management with a specific focus on food.
Good understanding of HACCP, national, and European food laws with a special emphasis on food. Team player with the ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment. Strong project management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously in a well-structured manner. Proficient in MS Office applications.
