Our client, a global innovation leader in eye health established in Munich in 1877, is currently looking for an Inhouse Software Developer specializing in EDI / API to join their SAP team. With over 5,000 employees worldwide across six production sites and operations in 85 countries, this is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team.

• Independent development, integration, and support of internationally used B2B processes in multiple environments
• Implementation of new data exchange requirements and continuous improvement of internal processes (e.g. data plausibility checks)
• Data exchange through various APIs / services and EDI
• Close collaboration and coordination with external service providers
• Alignment with internal departments
• Active participation in international projects

• Completed degree in Business Informatics / Computer Science or equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience in a similar role and solid knowledge in at least one relevant programming language
• Extensive experience with XML and SQL
• Fluency in German and English for international cooperation
• Knowledge in optometry is advantageous
