We are seeking a biotech process engineer for the further development of machines to industrialized micro carrier production
About us:

Your tasks:
- Operation and monitoring of a laboratory-scale device for the production of cell carrier structures (scaffolds/macro porous micro carriers)
- Optimization of existing technology on a laboratory scale
- Scaling the device for industrial use
- Implementation and documentation of test series for process optimization
- Maintenance and servicing of the systems
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to further develop the technology
- Communication and coordination with industrial and institutional partners to further develop the technology
- Creation of technical documentation and reports
Your profile:
- Completed training or studies in the field of process engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of engineering, compressed air technology, microfluidic and cooling technology
- Several years of professional experience in biotechnological process engineering or mechanical engineering, ideally with a focus on biotechnological applications desired
- Knowledge and experience of carrying out mechanical work independently
- (drilling, screwing, turning, sawing, welding, grinding)
- Basic understanding of chemistry and mechanics
- Initial experience with cell cultures or willingness to undergo further training in this area
- Analytical thinking and a precise way of working
- Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
- High degree of initiative and problem-solving skills
- Great care and an eye for detail
