Controller Brenntag Excellence (m/w/d):

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Finance business partner for Brenntag Excellence (incl.

Indirect Procurement):

  • Business partner to and performance Controlling of Brenntag Indirect procurement organization (savings generated, cost development of different categories, inflation analysis)
  • Sparring partner for all Brenntag Excellence related business cases
  • Ensuring that effects planned are realized and accuracy of Brenntag Excellence related communication to capital markets
  • Alignment with PnL owners on business cases

Additional tasks:

  • Owner of the Budget Process for the CTO (Chief Transformation Officer) domain
  • Working on projects for Brenntag global or the CTO organization
  • Responsible for developing standard reporting to support the leaders of the CTO organization and ensure cost control & transparency
  • Handling of ad hoc and approval requests (coordination of approvals with relevant other corporate departments; IT, Tax, Legal, Cyper Security, Corporate Controlling)

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Relevant degree in Business administration, Finance, Controlling etc.
  • 3+ years' experience in Finance & Controlling, desirable with experience in chemical distribution industry
  • Highly analytical, independent & assertive mindset
  • Strong stakeholder management on all levels
  • Interest to work as an interface among different fields of profession
  • Familiar with process in operations of a distribution company (e.g. Supply Chain or Commercial)
  • Ideally technical affinity as many process transformations are linked to technology
  • Fluent in English
