Join a dynamic team that is driving the technology industry forward. We are looking for a talented Deskside Engineer to advance our global IT support initiatives in Rheinmünster. If you are passionate about helping users troubleshoot hardware and software issues and implementing innovative solutions, then this position could be perfect for you.

Here's how you'll support our team:

  • Process hardware and application support requests and issues
  • Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connection and workstation hardware/software issues
  • Resolve errors with interchangeable consumer hardware, BIOS, drivers, operating systems, FedEx software
  • Install printer drivers, IP printing/cloud printing
  • Responsible for OneDrive setup and migrations with OneNote cloud sharing
  • Troubleshoot encryption issues, password problems, and Windows/Mac LAN/WAN connections
  • Provide video conferencing equipment and support
  • Handle inquiries
  • Escalate issues and involve experts
  • Responsible for mobile device support
  • Set up and troubleshoot Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, MacBook, iMac, MacMini)

What you bring to the table:

  • Desired Degree: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft environment Windows/MacOS
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining operating systems
  • Strong diagnostic and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of system installation and configuration
  • Excellent communication skills and customer orientation
  • Good proficiency in German and English required
