Manager Application Competence Center
Aramids find applications in various fields from tire reinforcement to aircraft composites, and even ballistic protection. We combine our product expertise with extensive application knowledge to craft specialized Twaron yarns and fabrics, aiding our clients in meeting their customers' needs effectively.
Your Responsibilities:
- Directing and nurturing the ACC team
- Maintaining the ACC's functionality
- Ensuring legal compliance
- Budget planning and oversight
- Strategizing and implementing investments
- Engaging with stakeholders (such as Authorities, Technical Team, Sales, Customers, etc.)
- Ensuring a secure work atmosphere (in collaboration with the HSE manager)
You will be stationed in Wuppertal, Germany, reporting to the Global Technology and Application Manager Ballistics, within the Teijin Aramid Research & Innovation Centre (RIC).
Your Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience
- Technical background or managerial experience in a lab/production setting
- Bachelor's in Science, State-certified Technical Engineer, or Bachelor Professional
- Thrives in a team setting and in diverse international environments
- Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written; German proficiency is essential
- Strong emphasis on safety practices
