About HeraeusAbout Heraeus Noblelight**:
The following challenges await you:
- In your role you lead projects for new and further development of UV light sources in close coordination with sales and production. This includes design of new UV lamps, as well as the planning, execution and evaluation of experiments with the support of a team of laboratory technicians
- Moreover, you work on product launches, further development of manufacturing processes and elimination of process errors. You also support our sales department in customer support.
- You represent the interests of the business unit at inter/national events by means of publications and presentations and promote networking with institutes and universities.
Your Profile:
- University degree in physic or comparable, with basic knowledge in electrical engineering, thermodynamics and modeling of physical processes
- Experience in coordinating and independently working on a project (e.g. as part of your PhD) ideally in the field of UV gas discharge lamps, plasma physics and UV radiation; initial work experience in these fields is advantageous
- Practical experience in laboratory / production environment
- Proficiency in MS Office is required
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Strong organizational skills, independent and reliable work methodology, customer oriented
