At oni we have the ambition to redefine grab & go food for the next generation of consumers. Our mission is to bring tasty, more affordable, and convenient food options to millions of people across Europe. We are starting up our operations in Berlin before expanding across several German and European cities to become the market leader in our category.

We envision a future where convenient food options are synonymous with warm hospitality, beautiful spaces, and engaged communities. We want even the quickest food experience to be infused with all the positive emotions associated with sharing a meal. Founded by leaders with extensive backgrounds in food-tech, e-commerce, and food-retail across Europe, oni is backed by top-tier VC investors and prominent business angels from the food sector.

We're now looking for our first store manager to help us realise this vision and lay the foundation for several upcoming new openings in the following months.

Tasks

What Success Looks Like in the Early Months:

  • You have effectively supported the Store Manager in the daily operations of our flagship location in Berlin Mitte.
  • You have assisted in managing staff, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and perform to our standards.
  • You have helped maintain operational efficiency and quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to our brand standards.
  • You have played a key role in inventory management and operational cost control to drive profitability.
  • You have contributed to creating a welcoming store environment that embodies our commitment to hospitality.
  • You have engaged with the local community to strengthen our brand's presence and foster positive relationships.
  • You have prepared reports and provided feedback to the Store Manager to improve store performance.
Requirements

What You Need to Succeed:

  • +1 year experience in a supervisory role within the food retail or consumer industry, with a proven track record in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and inspire a team.
  • Knowledgeable about the local Berlin market and able to connect with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on priorities, responsiveness, and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Fluent in English & German.
