Procurement Manager

As Procurement Manager, you will drive projects with global impact as well as local project-specific procurement activities with a focus on return on investment (ROI).
You will support global procurement strategies and define processes using procurement best practices.Your tasks will also include:
Steering and leading cross-functional project groups to support local and global sourcing strategies as well as marketing and sales strategies Defining business cases to optimize the value chain and increase ROI in procurement Working closely with the global procurement and finance organization to optimize processes Identification of cost optimization opportunities and their implementation within the organization Communication of complex topics in a simple way - transforming business strategy and changes into compelling communication Drive sourcing projects – from idea creation, scoping and sourcing to contract negotiation, implementation, administration and updating of all contracts Qualifications We are seeking a dynamic personality who embodies a blend of strategic thinking, proactive mindset, and strong presentation skills.
Furthermore, it would be a plus if you have:Professional experience in purchasing/procurement and project management experience Proficiency in leading change initiatives and skills in negotiation methods Highly proactive working style with outstanding assertiveness to drive initiatives forward Effective in collaborating across functions with excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal Exceptional presentation capabilities and advanced knowledge of presentation creation and strategic thinking Demonstrated fluency in English, German language is a nice to have High level of comprehension, especially regarding learning new IT tools Working at Novo Nordisk – that means changing lives We are a proud life science company, and life is our reason to exist.
