Position Overview:
They are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join their dynamic team in Cologne. As a key member of their development team, you will lead the design and implementation of robust and scalable solutions to drive their e-commerce platforms forward.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in PHP development with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining web applications using PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries.
- Expertise in database design and optimization, with experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to architect complex solutions from conception to implementation.
- Effective communication skills with fluency in both German (C1 level) and English (C1 level).
Desired Skills:
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and systems (e.g., Shopware).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Previous leadership or team management experience is a plus.
