You will accompany our customers through the Proof of Concept (PoC).

You will be the contact person for speed performance and analysing the speed metrics during and after the implementation of SpeedKit as a Principal Web Performance (all genders) in full time (40 hours).

About Your Role

The amount of our >100 customers and their >300 million users are growing and therefore more performance data has to be analyzed.

The resulting analyses and insights are evaluated with our customers and fed back into development of our product "Speed Kit" to constantly improve it.

The profound knowledge of web performance data and testing is necessary for successful customer onboardings and nurturing of our customers.

About your potential tasks

  • Do tech deepdives with our customers on web performance optimization and our product Speed Kit
  • Run and evaluate web performance field tests (e.g. new image formats, compression techniques, caching strategies) and evaluate our corresponding realuser monitoring data
  • Strategically support in establishing the bestinclass web performance approach for all development teams
  • Influence and convince the development teams to adopt your recommendations and approaches
  • Provide structural recommendations to ensure identified performance issues will not reoccur
  • Keep up to date with performance engineering tooling and ensure all development teams are using the latest and greatest tools
  • Support and guide the resolution of performancerelated customer escalations and in Proof of Concept (PoC) phases
  • Contribute novel ideas to our 5year product mission for an endtoend web performance solution based on data & AI (areas like performance alerts with automatics drilldowns, autooptimization with iterative A/Btests, datadriven performance recommendations etc.)

  • An intrinsic drive to achieve the best web performance, backed up with several years of relevant experience in web performance testing, engineering or consulting
  • A proactive mindset in building efficient performance solutions and taking ownership and driving change in your DNA
  • Good understanding of the network stack and browser environment, including dev tools & tracing
  • Experience with synthetics performance tools like Lighthouse or WebpageTest
  • Experience with Google Analytics and tools for realusermonitoring like mPulse or Instana
  • English fluently, German minimum C
  • Preferred: Experience with APM tools like Datadog, Loupe, AppDynamics, New Relic
