AWS is rapidly expanding its remote sales function to boost growth among a group of AWS' Enterprise customers and the top acquisition targets in the Enterprise Greenfield Segment.

As an Account Executive at AWS, your role involves honing acquisition skills and deploying solution-specific targeted campaigns to enhance the consumption of current and new AWS services.

In this capacity, where you are responsible for the entire sales cycle, you will leverage your sales and technical expertise to collaborate proactively with customers to expedite their transition to the cloud.

To take advantage of the innovation and scalability of AWS services, you will utilize internal resources to engage customers actively in achieving their strategic goals and adapting to evolving market trends.

The AWS Global Support team collaborates with leading organizations, recognizing that exceptional support is pivotal to customer success.

AWS Support collaborates with a global clientele building mission-critical applications on AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and qualifying potential customers: Conduct proactive research to identify businesses that could benefit from cloud-based solutions, assess their requirements, and evaluate feasible opportunities.
  • Effectively communicating the value proposition: Develop a deep understanding of cloud products/services, articulating unique benefits to prospective customers clearly and compellingly.
  • Driving the sales process and closing deals: Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation, ensuring a seamless customer experience leading to successful acquisitions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certification (Cloud Technologist, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Developer)
  • Knowledge of existing and emerging technologies
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce and web-based meeting applications
  • Exposure to technical sales in B2B or solution sales/technology-related environments
  • Engagement with C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
