SATCOM Engineer - Frankfurt - €75,000

Do you want to play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operation of satellite communication?

You will be part of the Sales Engineering team at the forefront of managing satellite operators, enhancing link budgets and fortifying network security.

Implement, manage and troubleshoot in complex end to end SATCOM and network environments.

No two days will be the same due to the large variety of customers ranging from commercial to government contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with satellite operators to procure and optimize satellite capacity.
  • Develop and maintain link budgets for satellite communication systems.
  • Utilize expertise in satellite communication to ensure efficient operation of Managed Service Provider (MSP) platforms.
  • Implement and manage networking protocols including routing and firewalling.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex satellite communication and networking issues.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to propose innovative solutions for enhancing our services.

Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in satellite communication protocols and systems.
  • Experience in sourcing capacity from satellite operators.
  • Strong ability to build and analyze link budgets.
  • Familiarity with satellite communication services offered by Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
  • Expertise in networking principles including routing and firewalling.

Salary
