Job Title:
Biogas Line Commissioning Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Biogas Line Commissioning Engineer to oversee the commissioning of a biogas line in a combined cycle plant.
The role is freelance, onsite in Stuttgart and German speaking is required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct an assessment of the biogas line system and determine necessary repairs and overhauls
- Coordinate with external companies, suppliers, TÜV, and the customer to ensure compliance with design, documentation, and approval requirements
- Collaborate with the power plant operating team to carry out any necessary conversion measures
- Commission the biogas control system
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
- Manage project timelines and budgets
- Provide training and support to the power plant operating team as needed
- Communicate progress updates and recommendations to project stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in commissioning, onsite operations, and gas/firing technology
- Experience with biogas systems and control systems
- Knowledge of permitting and compliance regulations
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Fluent in German and English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work onsite as needed
