The ideal candidate for this role must be an expert in Bobst Digital Printing Technology and will be responsible for providing training and support to customers. The primary objective is to ensure maximum production efficiency, color accuracy, and print quality on Bobst Digital printing systems by addressing Press, prepress, and DFE gaps.
As a Production Support Engineer, you will collaborate with customers, build strong relationships, and exhibit patience and professionalism while resolving issues expeditiously. Excellent follow-up skills and the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders are essential.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide prompt responses to customer-specific production requirements
- Deliver training on Press & DFE software to customers
- Validate new applications based on customer needs
- Manage color profiling and color management
- Collect and escalate customer feedback internally
- Adjust press settings for optimal color balance
- Follow up on customer performance post-installation
Your qualifications:
- Proficiency in handling pre-press files
- Strong team player and communicator
- Customer service mindset
- Empathetic towards customer needs
- Flexible, adaptive, and analytical
- Versatile, autonomous, and meticulous
- Willingness to travel within the EMEA region
Your experience:
- Fluency in English
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the printing industry
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and PDF editing
- Expertise in color management
