MISSION AND GOALS
The MTT Strategy & Innovation Team is a determined and flexible group specializing in developing modern business applications. We are constantly seeking new and innovative ways to advance SAP and delight our users. Currently, we are working on two in-house applications digitizing and optimizing event management at SAP. Emphasizing agility and teamwork with a startup-like approach.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As part of our team, you will significantly contribute to the success of our business applications, implementing them using SAP's latest technologies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing a robust and flexible Java backend (Spring) for high-performance cloud solutions
- Defining and developing modern applications in close collaboration with experienced colleagues
- Supporting the entire development cycle, from definition to implementation and delivery
- Proactively sharing ideas and knowledge in an agile environment
- Leveraging SAP HANA capabilities to develop performant and scalable applications
- Designing a backend architecture based on best practices and reusable microservices
- Evaluating and incorporating the latest trends into development
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Currently enrolled in a university or college, ideally focusing on Computer Science or Business Informatics
- Structured and independent work style, with great attention to detail and quality
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Java or C#
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Sense of humor and common sense
- Advanced proficiency in German and English
- Preference for 6-month internships
This is a global, strategic, and paid SAP internship that provides students with a sense of purpose in their career.
