The Department of Finance and Controlling at the University of Konstanz is responsible for managing budgetary and special funds. They distribute funds to budget officers in accordance with budget execution and legal requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Processing tax-related topics and/or managing budget accounts
• Preparation of profit determinations and tax returns for various commercial enterprises of the University of Konstanz
• Evaluation of contracts, projects, and rules of the university
• Implementation of a Tax Compliance Management System in accordance with § 2b UStG
• Participation in improving processes in the Budget and Tax department
• Project work in various departmental working groups

Requirements:

• Degree in business/legal/administrative field or Bachelor Professional
• Experience in tax law or budget management desired
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g. HIS MBS)
• Strong service orientation, teamwork, and communication skills
• Diligent, independent, and structured way of working
• Knowledge of English is beneficial
