At CARIAD, we're bundling and further expanding the Volkswagen Group's software expertise.
We're uniting over 6,500 global experts to build a scalable technology stack, including a software platform, unified electronic architecture and reliable connection to the automotive cloud.
Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.
Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID.models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.It's no easy task, but with experts like you, we can shape the future of mobility.
YOUR TEAMWe define the concepts, the hardware and the software architecture for this ECU's and lead the development to the future.
Your responsibility includes different parts of the developing of these ECUs, therefore you will face the challenges of the conception, collection and implementation of requirements for the projects within CARIAD an VW group.
As Software project lead for the scaleable computing platform (SVCP) you are responsible for the planning of software releases, the variant handling and the coordination of our agile development teams.
Technical management of the software team in the SVCP project~Planning of the software releases in the SVCP project according to the top-level planning of CARIAD
~Development of the software variant and branching concept for the SVCP
~Organizing PI planning for the software teams and providing assistance for the necessary breakdown of top-level capabilities to final software requirements
~Responsibility for ASPICE-compliant software development in the SVCP project in cooperation with the cross-sectional departments Quality and PMT
~Feature release plan for SVCP software development
Completed technical/university studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, Automotive Engineering or equivalent
~5 plus years experience in the field of embedded ECU projects and software development
~Experience in leading SW teams in large projects as technical lead of SW Teams is mandatory
~Familiar with agile software development and agile working methods (JIRA, Confluence, PI Plannings)
~Knowledge in ASPICE conform SW development process would be an advantage
~Excellent communication, intercultural skills plus you feel comfortable presenting in front of the management
~Fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus
