Job Summary:

The Whole Life Engineering is seeking an In-Country COMLOG In-Country IPT Lead to manage ongoing and future in-country scope across the Patriot COMLOG German Patriot Programs.

COMLOG is a joint venture company between Raytheon Missile and Defense and MBDA GmbH, providing Patriot Missile support across multiple European partner nations.

The COMLOG in-country IPT Lead is responsible for influencing hardware and systems early in their life cycle to assure effective operation, reliability, maintainability, and economical ownership for its customers and its end users.

This is a 2 year assignment with addition compensation incentives. This position requires the ability to travel domestically within the EU and internationally back to the US infrequently.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Prepare briefings for internal and external program status reviews, monthly progress report, and internal weekly and monthly leadership updates.
• Develop interorganizational partnerships with design engineering, specialty engineering, test engineering, EXIM, contracts, finance, global supply chain, quality, and operations.
• Lead a multidisciplined team to include the Product Line, Cross-Product Teams (CPT), and Subcontractors
• Develop and implement strategies to efficiently and effectively execute existing program scope and develop growth strategies by managing quality and deliverables for COMLOG products across contracts.
• Meet contractual commitments including the, quality, cost, technical and schedule performance using the approved business model and management tools including Earned Value Management System (EVMS), managing Risk and Opportunity, Integrated Product Development System (IPDS), PRISM, SAP/APEX for COMLOG systems and components.
• Lead efforts to help COMLOG international partners ensure continuity in execution and mitigation of schedule risk.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 8+ years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience in a production environment from material release through contract sales or logístical contract and sustainment management experience
• Experience in operations management, IPT leadership, or program management
• Experience in leading multifunctional teams across organizations
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience with EXIM licensing requirements within the Department of Commerce and Department of State's export and import regulations.
• Experience with Patriot Missile product line, production, testing, and sustainment
• Experience with U.S. Army sustainment model for weapon systems, field maintenance, and depot maintenance systems/processes.

Additional Qualifications We Value:

• 10+ years of Operations Management, IPT Leadership, or Program Management experience
• Direct experience in program planning, budgeting, and tracking (EVMS) to cost and schedule.
• CORE Certification or equivalent
• Program Management Level 6 Certification or ability to obtain within one year.
• Experience with and understanding of EXIM regulations, compliance, and licensing.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across organizations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment with time critical requirements.
• Strong communication skills, German language experience a plus
