- At least 2 years of professional experience as a Layout artist in VFX industry
- Knowledge of Maya and/or Houdini, as well as 3D Equalizer
- Experience with modeling, particularly environment modeling and animation is a plus, but not a necessity
- Familiarity with USD pipeline
- Previs background is welcomed
responsibilities:
- Taking an environment from blocking to final set dressing
- Positioning virtual camera in relation to real shot scenes with the help of Lidar Scans
- Keeping continuity of your sequence in check
- Camera and character animation blocking for CG sequences
- Creating previews and ingesting scenes into internal pipeline
