Flight Dispatcher

At DHL Air Austria, we are seeking a Flight Dispatcher to join our team.

Your responsibilities:

• Set up optimized and safe Flight Planning to ensure the efficient operation of all flights
• Monitor weather conditions, NOTAMs, technical information, and ATC data to ensure safe operations
• Assist with flight preparation and operational information for the crew
• Submit flight plans and coordinate with ATC centers
• Ensure on-time performance and efficient fuel management
• Proactively monitor operations and provide solutions to disruptions
• Prepare reports on dispatch and OCC function
• Coordinate authorizations for overflights, landings, and ancillary services as needed
• Build and maintain relationships with external parties
• Participate in cross-departmental projects

Your profile:

• Hold a valid Dispatch license or complete aviation training program
• Minimum 1 year of practical experience in an operational environment
• Background in commercial flight operations, cargo operations experience is a plus
• Knowledge of navigation, meteorology, flight planning, and aviation regulations
• Working with LIDO Flight 4D is advantageous
• Good command of English; German proficiency is a plus
• Ability to work in a 24/7 shift pattern
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• EU citizenship or valid Residence and Work Permit for Austria
