Your Tasks

  • You are responsible for the management of strategic projects and initiatives in the area of organizational development and corporate strategy, e.g. support or "challenger" in the context of business unit strategy development
  • You provide support for strategy implementation, including followup as well as using newly gained insights to refine analyses, etc.
  • You manage upcoming special projects
  • You prepare decision papers for the executive board, division leaders, and other decisionmakers
  • You conduct analyses for deriving strategies, evaluate the results, and derive recommendations for action for the management
  • You provide support in the context of M&A projects, e.g. synergy evaluation/modeling, operational due diligence
  • You provide holistic support for postmerger integration activities (PMI) and corporate spinoffs (carveouts)

This includes above all:

  • Integration preparation/planning and thus early involvement of the Integration Management Office (IMO) already in the predeal/deal phase
  • Phase between contract signing and closing (Day 1 Readiness)
  • Phase after execution (focus: days 1100): Project leadership and management of PMI activities as well as company spinoff as central point of contact across the entire value chain starting with higherlevel central functions such as IT, Finance and HR across the entire value chain, including Sales, Service, Purchasing, Operations
  • You further develop existing PMI tools, processes and checklists
  • You advise and support our business unit managers as well as the domestic and foreign subsidiaries
Your Skills

  • The basis of your career is a successfully completed degree in economics/industrial engineering or a comparable degree
  • With you, we are gaining an employee with at least 25 years of professional experience in the area of Operational Consulting, Operational Transaction Services, Postmerger Integration or Corporate Development
  • Ideally, you are already familiar with industrial, mechanical engineering or software companies and their activities
  • You have a very good command of written and spoken English as well as very good MS Office skills
  • In order to represent Dürr at other locations in Germany and abroad, you will have a willingness to travel worldwide and excellent communication skills
  • You work independently, responsibly and in an organized manner
  • Your profile is rounded off by a high degree of flexibility, willingness to perform and the ability to work in a team
