Director - Product Development Quality Assurance RoleMake your mark:
In our Product Development Quality Assurance department at the Ludwigshafen site, you will collaborate with a team of skilled individuals and experienced professionals to develop future products.
You will be setting rigorous standards in cutting-edge laboratories to ensure top-notch quality in the competitive field.
You will be responsible for managing a quality organization, ensuring compliance with clinical trial supplies' quality systems, and overseeing drug development project implementation, among other key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of pharmaceutical drug and drug/device combination products with global quality and regulatory requirements
- Establish and evaluate quality indicators regularly and provide oversight on manufacturing and analytical batch records
- Support integration of acquisitions, perform GMP assessments, and develop a risk-based approach for decision-making
- Advance continuous improvement initiatives and strategic programs within your scope
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or Microbiology. Master's Degree or PhD preferred
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in Quality Assurance and drug product manufacturing/testing
- Experience in R&D environments and with Investigational Medicinal Products desirable
- Strong understanding of global regulatory requirements and GMPs
- Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to make critical decisions, and resolve complex technical issues
