For our new optics laboratory in
Jena, we reinforce our engineering team responsible for the design and development of our innovation projects for advanced microscopy solutions in the field of digital pathology and multimodal microscopy.
We are looking for a
Mechatronics Technician to join our Technology department in
fulltime (40 hrs/w) as soon as available.
Your tasks:
- Intelligent control of different systems and equipment for complete automation of the microscope
- Design of synchronization strategies for laser scanning excitation and detection in single point scanner mode, and in multiplexed scanner mode
- Set up and operation of advanced optical microscopes
- Follow standard operation procedures, lab safety rules, incl. troubleshooting
Your profile:
- Successful studies / apprenticeship as electronics engineer or related qualification
- Distinct practical experience in the independent development of electronics and firmware
- Experience in microscopy or medical devices
- Experience with Quality Management Systems
- Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills
- Business fluent in English word and writing; ideally conversational level German
