TheApplication Teams of the Cybersecurity and Applications Practice areresponsible for managing the Assurance IT Ecosystem. A key task of the ITEcosystem is the automation and digitalization of the Siemens Assuranceprocesses.

A DevOpsteam, consisting of product owners, software developers, and AI experts, hasbeen established to develop and operate the required IT applications. As amember of the DevOps team, you are responsible for identifying and developingAI-based digital solutions to optimize the Assurance IT Ecosystemfunctionality.

You will work closely (starting October, with variousAssurance departments and, together with the other members of the DevOps team,ensure the timely implementation of innovation, digitalization, and automationsolutions using AI.

What you'll be doing.

As a DataScientist you should be able to apply your hands-on experience withmachine-learning frameworks, and interpret and benchmark, as well as evaluateand tune, algorithms to create the best possible solutions for real businessproblems.

  • Utilizestrong programming skills in Python and knowledge of AI/ML frameworks todevelop and deploy machine learning models for various applications.
  • Collaboratewith cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translatethem into data science solutions, leveraging cloud platforms for data science.
  • ApplyGenAI development Tools and Frameworks (e.g. promptflow, langchain) tocontribute to building production-ready GenAI Applications.
  • ImplementML/AI Ops best practices, including versioning, monitoring, continuousimprovement, and deployment of machine learning models in productionenvironments.
  • Exploreand utilize advanced data science techniques to extract insights from complexdatasets and drive informed decision-making.
  • Contributeto the development and maintenance of data science pipelines, ensuringscalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Communicatefindings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner,contributing to data-driven strategies and initiatives.

What ittakes

  • At least 3+ years of professional experience in data science and machinelearning, including the development and deployment of machine learning modelswithin Siemens, a technology company, or a respected assurance and consultingfirm.
  • Master's degree in computer science, DataScience, Statistics or similar.
  • Proficiencyin programming with Python, including experience with AI/ML frameworks such asTensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Hands-onexperience with cloud platforms for data science, such as Azure, OpenShift, includingdata storage, processing, and model deployment capabilities.
  • Familiaritywith GenAI Development Tools and Frameworks, particularly Promptflow, or astrong willingness to independently familiarize yourself with them.
  • Knowledgeof ML/AI Ops best practices, including model versioning, monitoring, anddeployment in production environments.
  • Strongunderstanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learningalgorithms.
  • Excellentproblem-solving skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets toextract meaningful insights.
  • Effective communication and collaborationskills to work with cross-functional teams and present findings tonon-technical stakeholders
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus.
