Copy Creative Lead

With the launch of our "Alles vom Deinsten" and "Go your own Wayfair" creative platforms in Germany and the UK - we have laid the groundwork strategically and creatively, and now we need someone to help us fly.

We're looking for a seasoned writer, 5+ years of experience, who has a proven track record in developing ideas and copy that both builds brands and sells products - across all channels with a key focus on social media - as this is where a rich opportunity lies for the brand.


Objectives for this role:

  • Thrive in a fastpaced, collaborative environment working with internal Wayfair stakeholders and Agency partners.
  • Raise the bar continually for for writing fresh copy that connects with a desired audience and drives action
  • Stay current on the appropriate style guides, toolkits and brand voice for messaging consistency
  • Create breakthrough ideas and strategies for Wayfair's social channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and respond to creative briefs to develop concepts for execution across projects and geo's
  • Write original copy and edit content for a range of brand, marketing and communication materials
  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders from concept development to final delivery
  • Lead a team of 12 copywriters.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Four or more years of professional copywriting experience, with a solid portfolio of work. Experience working in agency and corporate environments will be advantageous.
  • Experience working in digital marketing website, app, mobile, social media (incl. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest)
  • German Native and fluent in English (must be able to deliver copy in both languages to a high standard).
