Your mission during this flight:
As Team Lead Indirect Procurement & CAPEX you will be leading a growing team of indirect and operational buyers at two locations of Volocopter. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Procurement and work closely with various cross-functional teams to achieve our mission and help bring urban air mobility to life.

  • You will lead, mentor and develop your team members to establish procurement excellence within your scope of control
  • You will develop dedicated commodity strategies for all goods/services and CAPEX to be procured by your team and centralize expenditures
  • You will source goods/services and CAPEX and lead negotiations with your team, whilst developing and maintaining relationships with existing suppliers
  • You will implement processes, methods, and tools to deliver continuous cost improvements in accordance with the set targets
Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • You have approximately 5 years leadership experience in procurement or supplier management with focus on indirect spent and CAPEX
  • You have a solid track record in the implementation of commodity strategies, contract management, processes and tools
  • You have shown pioneering spirit before, combining the ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally and cross-culturally
  • You have a master's degree in Economics, Business or comparable study programs
  • You have a good command in MS-Office and preferably MS Dynamics 365 Business Central - Navision ERP
  • You have an excellent command of spoken and written English, as well as German.
