Technical Editor (m/f/d) - Automotive Focus
Location: Stuttgart
Position Type: Permanent

• Create operation and maintenance manuals for the automotive sector (passenger cars/commercial vehicles)
• Research technical issues through discussions, parts lists, drawings, CAD models, maintenance schedules, or directly on vehicles
• Develop new content for documentation using an XML-based editorial system
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and clients' technical contacts on projects
• Responsible for planning and preparing illustrations and translations, ensuring project deadlines are met

Your Qualifications

• Technical or scientific education, technical degree, technical editing studies, or relevant training
• Beginners in technical editing with technical and language skills are also welcome
• First professional experience in technical editing, preferably with XML-based editorial systems (e.g., GRIPS, Cosima, TIM)
• Strong technical understanding with automotive knowledge
• Passionate about structuring and explaining technical issues
• Independent and responsible work ethic with a focus on quality and customer orientation
• Enjoy working and actively communicating in a team
• Very good German and good English language skills
