For our office in Berlin we are looking for a Junior Designer (div/f/m).

As a Junior Designer (div/f/m), you will be creating engaging designs that start conversations between eBay's customers and brand.

You'll work within a team of creatives and copywriters to deliver impactful designs that fulfill a range of digital projects and campaigns.


You're tasks:

  • Fulfilling design briefs to their highest potential
  • Developing digital advertising materials
  • Sourcing images to elevate design work
  • Creating onsite marketing banners from scratch
  • Taking accountability for flawless design output
  • Taking briefs from start to finish
  • Creating and owning design templates
  • Creating image mapped HTMLS
  • Researching the latest design trends
  • Collaborating with your team members in marketing, copy and client services
Your time will be split between the DEPT and eBay office.

It is a great opportunity to see the inner workings of a world renowned brand whilst working for a creative agency.

  • Have some first experience and a genuine love of digital design to work on a broad range of projects small and large for one of the largest ecommerce sites in the world
  • Nice to have: agency experience and previously delivered onsite and direct marketing material
  • Are a great source for uptotheminute creative knowledge and trends
  • Have some relevant experience covering brand, direct and above the line creative work
  • Are a great teammate that supports their colleagues and doesn't act as an individual
  • Are adding something unique to the culture of DEPT and want to be a part of a social environment
  • Are very organised with attention to detail
  • Work with grit and determination in the face of demanding deadlines
  • Have a desire to embrace new skills and challenges
  • Are keen to build client relations and pitch their ideas to them
  • Have a good eye for layout, skilled in typesetting and retouchin
  • Don't panic. We know we're asking for a lot of skills, but not everything is required from the getgo. Ideally, we would like to see that you have a Tstructured profile and are keen to learn new skills and master new technologies.
