Senior Database Engineer

With your expertise in data infrastructure and database management, you will strengthen our position as a market leader while achieving new successes together with our excellent team.
Design and
Development:
You are responsible for designing, developing and maintaining our data systems
Documentation and Monitoring:
You create and maintain documentation for our data systems and monitor data systems to ensure high availability and scalability
Performance of Data Systems:
You continuously evaluate and improve data systems performance
Consulting:
You lead, review and consult software engineers using data systems
Troubleshooter:
You debug and troubleshoot data systems issues
Specialist:
You are responsible for engineering of tools and scripts to automatize, run and support the data systems
We use Serverless Python functions for our Microservices and GPU enhanced microcontrollers to run our deep learning models on the edge and store the data in the AWS cloud
You will take a great part in shaping our engineering standards - you will be highly involved in how the software architecture will be designed and how future features can be released
We have a "you built it, you run it" attitude: Background: You have a lot of experience with PostgreSQL in fast startup environments
You have strong programming skills with Python, Java or Scala
Hands-on: You are comfortable using Linux (working in the command line and using GNU tools)
Go-for-it Attitude: When you see something broken, you can't help but fix it
Teamwork:
You collaborate with your team members and lead efficient communication by heart
Language Skills:
Strong written and spoken English (level C1 on the CEFR scale)
