POSITION: Operations Manager at a Leading Family Business in North Rhine-Westphalia

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Newly created position
• Directly reports to the CEO
• Member of the management team and collaborates closely with its members

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ongoing development of the company in the fields of product development (R&D) and production
• Overall responsibility for a well-structured construction, manufacturing, and delivery of customer orders in terms of quality, deadlines, and costs
• Production planning and control
• Digitalization of manufacturing processes and procedures
• Achieving Operational Excellence
• Planning and costing of investments (inspection, maintenance, and repair planning of the machinery, construction of machines and tools)

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Successful completion of an engineering degree (mechanical engineering, production, or automation technology, or similar)
• Alternatively, relevant professional experience with proven success as an industry manager
• Experienced in restructuring a business area
• Experienced and confident in direct technical exchange with global key accounts
• Ideally several years of professional and leadership experience in a metalworking industrial company
• Skilled in the application of state-of-the-art management methods, experience with change management (preferably at the cultural level)
