YOUR TASKS:
- Responsible for the global category purchasing team for rubber and plastic components for a global purchasing volume of 150+ MEUR
- Disciplinary and functional management leadership of a global team of 1520 people
- Acting in complex multi matrix stakeholder management teams such as regions, business units, production plants, RnD, quality, logistics, suppliers
- Develop and align global and local purchasing strategies and present them at board level to business units and to all stakeholders
- Drive supplier risk management processes and keep the complex global supply chain running
- Responsibility and decision power to: Ensure supplies and quality level, commercial competitiveness, annual price reductions, strategy development and execution, etc.
YOUR PROFILE:
- University degree in a commercial or technical area with excellent graduation level
- Minimum 5 years of broad experience in operational and strategic purchasing and in management functions in an global environment, ideally in Rubber and Plastic area
- Deep knowledge about global supplier market trends and developments
- Experience with requirements in global automotive and truck industry and solid technical understanding of truck technologies and truck component requirements
- Fluent in German and English
- Excellent communication skills with a winning and convincing personality as well as intracultural competencies to lead a global team, coaching skills and team orientation
- High level of resilience and willingness to travel
